Communication design and signage for Festival Village, The Southbank Centre, 2012.
Festival Village was social space created for The Southbank Centre as part of ‘The Festival of the World’. The space was designed and built with the help of over 200 volunteers, project managed by TILT and LYN.
Various elements around the space were developed from communication design, signage, displays and floor markings to designate assorted set ups for the adaptable space.
Posters were also created to promote the various design and build workshops. Then infographics were produced, explaining the outcomes and final designs.
Different coloured markings on the floor identified where items of furniture should be placed for the various functions in the adaptive space.
